Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you use CarPing — whether you have registered a car, or you have simply scanned a sticker to send someone a message. By using the service you agree to them.

1What CarPing does

CarPing is a messaging service. A sticker with a unique QR code goes on a car's windshield. Anyone who scans it can send the owner a message without either person seeing the other's phone number. Owners can also nominate emergency contacts who are alerted if the owner sends an accident report.

CarPing is not an emergency service. It does not contact police, ambulance or roadside assistance on your behalf. In an emergency, call the emergency services directly.

2Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to register a car. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your Egyptian mobile number, so keeping access to that number secure is your responsibility. If you change or lose the number, update it in the app so you don't lose access.

You may only register a car you own or are authorised to use. Register the correct details, and keep them current — a person contacting you relies on them to confirm they have the right car.

3Buying stickers

CarPing stickers are sold by DotMinds LLC, registered in Egypt. Contact details are at the end of these terms.

One purchase covers one car and includes two stickers carrying the same code — one for the windscreen and one for the rear glass. The price shown on our website when you order is the price you pay, and delivery within Egypt is included.

Pre-orders. Orders placed before the app is released are reservations. No payment is taken when you order. We contact you before dispatch, and you pay the courier in cash on delivery. You can cancel at no cost at any time before dispatch, by replying to our message or emailing us.

Returns. You may refuse delivery at the door at no cost to you, since you have not paid at that point. If you have already accepted the order and change your mind, you may return the stickers unused within 14 days of receiving them. We refund the full price you paid; return shipping costs 70 EGP and is paid by you.

If a sticker arrives damaged, cannot be scanned, or stops working through no fault of yours, that is on us: we cover the return cost and replace it free of charge. A sticker that has been applied to glass cannot be removed and reused, so we cannot accept the return of an applied sticker unless it is faulty.

No recurring charge. The purchase is the only charge. There is no renewal and no subscription, and your stickers keep working for as long as your account exists. Receiving messages, being notified when someone contacts you, and replying in the app are included and stay free. If we ever add an optional paid feature, we will explain what it costs before you choose it, and declining it will leave everything described here working exactly as it does today.

4Using the service properly

CarPing works because strangers can reach each other safely. That depends on people behaving reasonably. You must not:

We filter messages automatically to block contact details from being exchanged, and we record false accident reports. Accounts that repeatedly misuse the service can be suspended or blocked.

5Messages between users

Messages sent through CarPing are written by users, not by us. We screen them automatically before delivery, but we do not read or approve them individually and we are not responsible for their content. If you receive something abusive you can report it in the app, and you can block the sender so they cannot contact you again through your sticker. We review reports and remove content or ban accounts where our rules have been broken.

Whether to reply to a message is always your choice. You are never obliged to respond.

6Accident reports and emergency contacts

When you send an accident report, CarPing attempts to notify the contacts you nominated, and escalates to your backup contacts if the first person does not open the alert within the time you set.

Delivery depends on mobile networks, SMS providers, and the recipient's phone. We cannot guarantee that any alert will arrive, arrive on time, or be seen. Do not rely on CarPing as your only means of getting help.

By adding someone as an emergency contact, you confirm they have agreed to receive these alerts.

7Third-party services

We may show you offers from independent providers such as car washing, maintenance, inspection or roadside assistance, and we may earn a fee when you use them. Those services are provided by those companies, under their own terms, and we are not responsible for the work they do. Any dispute is between you and them.

8Ratings and reviews

You can rate services listed in the app and leave a comment. What you write is shown to other users, so write it as something public. Reviews must describe your own experience. Do not post anything false or abusive, do not write on behalf of a business, and do not review a business you own or work for. We may remove a review that breaks these rules.

Ratings and listing information shown alongside our own come from Google, and we do not control them. A rating is an opinion, not a recommendation from us. Choosing a service provider is your decision, and any dispute is between you and them.

9Availability

We work to keep CarPing running, but we cannot promise it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.

10Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time, from the app or from our account deletion page. Deleting your account unlinks your sticker and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

11Limits on our responsibility

CarPing is provided as it is. To the extent Egyptian law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for messages or alerts that are delayed or not delivered, for anything a user writes or does, or for the acts of third-party providers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that meaningfully affects you, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use CarPing after that means you accept the new version.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

شروط الاستخدام

الشروط دي بتسري في أي وقت بتستخدم فيه كار بينج — سواء كنت مسجّل عربية، أو مجرد صوّرت استيكر عشان تبعت رسالة لحد. باستخدامك للخدمة انت موافق عليها.

١كار بينج بيعمل إيه

كار بينج خدمة رسايل. استيكر عليه كود QR مخصوص بيتحط على زجاج العربية. أي حد يصوّره يقدر يبعت رسالة لصاحبها من غير ما حد فيهم يشوف رقم التاني. وأصحاب العربيات كمان يقدروا يحددوا جهات اتصال للطوارئ بيوصلها تنبيه لو صاحب العربية بعت بلاغ حادث.

كار بينج مش خدمة طوارئ. مش بيتصل بالشرطة ولا الإسعاف ولا المساعدة على الطريق نيابة عنك. في حالة الطوارئ، اتصل بخدمات الطوارئ مباشرة.

٢حسابك

لازم تكون ١٨ سنة على الأقل عشان تسجّل عربية. الدخول بيتم بكود لمرة واحدة بيوصل على رقمك المصري، فالحفاظ على الرقم ده مسؤوليتك. لو غيّرت الرقم أو ضاع منك، حدّثه في التطبيق عشان متفقدش الوصول لحسابك.

متسجّلش غير عربية انت مالكها أو مصرّح لك باستخدامها. سجّل البيانات الصح وخليها محدّثة — اللي بيكلمك بيعتمد عليها عشان يتأكد إنها العربية الصح.

٣شراء الاستيكرات

استيكرات كار بينج بتتباع من خلال DotMinds LLC، مسجّلة في مصر. بيانات التواصل في آخر الشروط دي.

الشرا الواحد بيغطي عربية واحدة وبيشمل استيكرين بنفس الكود — واحد للزجاج الأمامي وواحد للخلفي. والسعر المعروض على موقعنا وقت الطلب هو السعر اللي بتدفعه، والتوصيل جوه مصر مشمول.

الحجز المسبق. الطلبات اللي بتتعمل قبل نزول التطبيق بتُعتبر حجز. مفيش أي دفع وقت الطلب. بنكلمك قبل الشحن، وبتدفع للمندوب كاش عند الاستلام. وتقدر تلغي من غير أي تكلفة في أي وقت قبل الشحن، بالرد على رسالتنا أو بإيميل.

الإرجاع. تقدر ترفض الاستلام عند الباب من غير أي تكلفة عليك، لأنك ساعتها لسه مدفعتش. ولو كنت استلمت الطلب وغيّرت رأيك، تقدر ترجّع الاستيكرات من غير استخدام خلال ١٤ يوم من استلامها. وإحنا بنرجّعلك تمنها كامل، وتكلفة شحن الإرجاع ٧٠ جنيه بتتحمّلها إنت.

ولو وصلك استيكر تالف أو الكود مش بيتقري أو بطّل يشتغل من غير سبب منك، ده علينا إحنا: بنتحمّل تكلفة الإرجاع وبنستبدله ببلاش. والاستيكر اللي اتلزق على الزجاج مش بيتشال ويتعاد استخدامه، فمش هنقدر نقبل إرجاع استيكر متلزق إلا لو كان فيه عيب.

مفيش رسوم متكررة. الشرا ده هو الدفعة الوحيدة. مفيش تجديد ولا اشتراك، والاستيكرات بتفضل شغالة طول ما حسابك موجود. واستقبال الرسايل والإشعار لما حد يكلمك والرد من جوه التطبيق كلها متضمنة وبتفضل مجانية. ولو ضفنا في أي وقت خاصية مدفوعة اختيارية، هنوضّح تكلفتها قبل ما تختارها، ورفضها هيسيب كل اللي هنا شغال بالظبط زي دلوقتي.

٤الاستخدام السليم للخدمة

كار بينج بيشتغل لأن الغُرَبا يقدروا يوصلوا لبعض بأمان، وده متوقف على إن الناس تتصرف بشكل معقول. ممنوع:

إحنا بنفلتر الرسايل أوتوماتيك عشان نمنع تبادل بيانات التواصل، وبنسجّل البلاغات الكاذبة. والحسابات اللي بتسيء الاستخدام بشكل متكرر ممكن تتوقف أو تتحظر.

٥الرسايل بين المستخدمين

الرسايل اللي بتتبعت من خلال كار بينج بيكتبها المستخدمون، مش إحنا. بنفحصها أوتوماتيك قبل ما توصل، بس مش بنقراها ولا بنوافق عليها واحدة واحدة ومش مسؤولين عن محتواها. ولو وصلك أي حاجة مسيئة تقدر تبلّغ عنها من جوه التطبيق، وتقدر تحظر اللي بعتها عشان ميقدرش يكلمك تاني من خلال الاستيكر بتاعك. وإحنا بنراجع البلاغات وبنشيل المحتوى أو نحظر الحسابات لما قواعدنا تتخالف.

الرد على أي رسالة قرارك انت دايماً. مش ملزم ترد أبداً.

٦بلاغات الحوادث وجهات الطوارئ

لما تبعت بلاغ حادث، كار بينج بيحاول يبلّغ جهات الاتصال اللي حددتها، وبيبلّغ الجهات الاحتياطية لو الشخص الأول مفتحش التنبيه في المدة اللي انت ضبطتها.

التوصيل بيعتمد على شبكات المحمول ومزوّدي الرسايل وموبايل المستقبِل. إحنا مش ضامنين إن أي تنبيه هيوصل، أو هيوصل في وقته، أو حد هيشوفه. متعتمدش على كار بينج كوسيلتك الوحيدة لطلب المساعدة.

بإضافة أي شخص كجهة اتصال للطوارئ، انت بتأكد إنه موافق يستقبل التنبيهات دي.

٧خدمات الأطراف الأخرى

ممكن نعرض عليك عروض من مزوّدين مستقلين زي غسيل العربيات أو الصيانة أو الفحص أو المساعدة على الطريق، وممكن ناخد عمولة لما تستخدمهم. الخدمات دي بتقدّمها الشركات دي بشروطها الخاصة، وإحنا مش مسؤولين عن الشغل اللي بيعملوه. وأي خلاف بيكون بينك وبينهم.

٨التقييمات والآراء

تقدر تقيّم الخدمات المعروضة في التطبيق وتكتب تعليق. واللي بتكتبه بيتعرض لباقي المستخدمين، فاكتبه على أساس إنه علني. والتقييم لازم يكون عن تجربتك انت شخصياً. متكتبش أي حاجة كاذبة أو مسيئة، ومتكتبش نيابة عن محل، ومتقيّمش محل انت صاحبه أو شغال فيه. وممكن نشيل أي تقييم بيخالف القواعد دي.

التقييمات وبيانات المحلات المعروضة جنب تقييماتنا جاية من جوجل، وإحنا مش متحكمين فيها. والتقييم رأي، مش توصية مننا. واختيار مقدّم الخدمة قرارك انت، وأي خلاف بيكون بينك وبينه.

٩توفّر الخدمة

إحنا بنشتغل عشان كار بينج يفضل شغال، بس مقدرش نضمن إنه هيكون متاح من غير انقطاع. وممكن نغيّر أو نوقف أو نسحب خصائص، وهندّيك إشعار معقول قبل ما نشيل حاجة انت بتعتمد عليها.

١٠إنهاء استخدامك

تقدر تمسح حسابك في أي وقت، من التطبيق أو من صفحة مسح الحساب. مسح الحساب بيفك ارتباط الاستيكر وبيمسح بياناتك زي ما موضّح في سياسة الخصوصية.

وممكن إحنا نوقف أو نقفل أي حساب بيخالف الشروط دي، وهنقولك السبب إلا لو كنا ممنوعين من كده.

١١حدود مسؤوليتنا

كار بينج بيتقدّم بحالته. وفي حدود ما يسمح به القانون المصري، إحنا مش مسؤولين عن الخسائر غير المباشرة أو التبعية، ولا عن الرسايل والتنبيهات اللي بتتأخر أو متوصلش، ولا عن أي حاجة بيكتبها أو بيعملها مستخدم، ولا عن تصرفات مزوّدي الخدمات الخارجيين. ومفيش حاجة هنا بتحدّ من مسؤولية القانون مبيسمحش بتحديدها.

١٢تعديلات على الشروط

لو غيّرنا الشروط دي بشكل بيأثر عليك فعلياً، هنبلّغك في التطبيق قبل ما التغيير يسري. واستمرارك في استخدام كار بينج بعد كده معناه إنك موافق على النسخة الجديدة.

١٣القانون الواجب التطبيق

الشروط دي بتخضع لقوانين جمهورية مصر العربية، والمحاكم المصرية هي المختصة بأي نزاع.
